The purpose of this study was to describe the pedagogical competence of PAUD educators in children's motor and cognitive development at Rainbow Daycare Jember Regency. Pedagogical competence of PAUD educators is analyzed through the theory of cognitivism. Meanwhile, children's motor and cognitive development can be reviewed from the results of the learning and learning process that has been implemented. The type of research uses descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were different understandings and abilities of educators' competencies, especially in planning, implementing, and assessing children's learning outcomes, but with these differences educators were able to provide an effective play and learning environment in achieving children's motor and cognitive development. In the view of cognitiveism theory, the involvement of educators' competence is one of the stimulations that build effective learning and learning environments.
